Image result for war for the planet of the apes

After suffering terrible losses, Caesar seeks revenge on a man called The Colonel.

We have seen them rise. We have seen the dawn of their kind. Now, it’s time for war. This movie is great in every way, shape, and form. The acting, action, and the plot is what makes it great and easy to understand. The title is misleading though. This is more of a conflict than a war. It’s not a bad thing but just gets you excited for a big battle between apes and humans but it’s something entirely different. I won’t spoil it but throughout the film I was waiting for a war. What I got was totally different. Andy Serkis is phenomenal as always as Caesar and Woody Harrelson is a great villain. There’s also a girl named Nova (that’s an obvious throwback to the original) who is perfect in the film. The action is fun and intense from start to finish. Out of all of the reboot Planet of the Apes this would be my second favorite right next to Dawn. It’s a amazing action adventure film with some slow scenes and some scenes can get boring but it builds up to a epic climax. It’s defiantly a must see in theaters and 3D. Verdict: 8.7.
